Welcome to Kristaval Day Care
A private day care nursery registered for 62 children between birth and 5 years and run from a large Victorian building in Brighton-le- Sands, Liverpool. We ensure that every child is given an equal opportunity to learn through high quality play experiences. Play is vital for children. It helps them to understand the world around them and it is through play that our children learn, develop at their own pace and have fun with adults who understand, support and care for them. We want our children to feel safe, happy and secure and to leave Kristaval with the confidence to move on to the next step in their education
ABOUT Kristaval Day Care
The nursery is open 7.30am to 6pm throughout the year, only closed on bank holidays and 1 week at Christmas.
We pride ourselves on our warm and welcoming environment and staff. Kristaval Day Care truly is a home from home. Our parents always comment on the friendly, family feel of our setting.
Our ongoing support for parents starts from the complimentary settling in sessions and continues right through to preparing our children for primary school.
Our daily aim is to make sure your child is happy, safe and experiencing inspiring educational activities (both indoors and outdoors) and our parents can log in to our “Tapestry” online learning journal to keep updated on the fun and learning their child is experiencing.
All nappies, wipes and meals (excluding formula baby milk) is included in our competitively priced daily charge. Meals are supplied by “Apetito” meal services (have a look on their website to learn more) and are prepared daily by our cook Sue
MEET OUR TEAM
We boast a highly qualified and dedicated team of staff lead by our nursery manager Angie and Liz, the nursery owner who is a qualified childrens nurse
OUR ROOMS
We have four large children’s rooms consisting of Baby Room 1, Baby Room 2, Totz Room (2/3 years) and Pre School Room (3 years plus) We are also fortunate to have an outdoor play area.
BABY Room 1
Baby Room offers a large bright environment for our younger babies. It has a changing area and milk kitchen within the room and a staff ratio of 1:3
Toddler Room
Baby Room 2 has a changing area and is a bright, stimulating space for our older babies. This room has a staff ratio of 1:3
Totz Room
Totz room is a large, high ceiling room, bright and airy with immediate access to our outdoor space and totz toilets and has a staff ratio of 1:4
Pre SCHOOL Room
Located upstairs, the pre school room is another large room which also has its own toilet block and seperate access to our outdoor space. The staff ratio is 1:8
