Welcome to our nursery in Crosby. Our converted building with sizeable outdoor area is designed to cater for young children’s needs with features that actively encourage child development. Because we believe children learn best through play, all resources are freely available at child height, encouraging independent play and self-choice.

Meet Angela Pratt, the manager at Kristaval Day Care
My name is Angie Pratt, and I have worked in Early Years for over 28 years. I have achieved NVQ level 2 and 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education. Building onto a Foundation and BA Hons Degree in Early Years Leadership. I have managed Kristaval Day Care since 2022.
My team approach is to be supportive, consistent, and encourage clear communication which builds positive relationships with all staff. Through this I have created a safe, stimulating and holistic learning environment whereby our children are thriving. Every child deserves the best possible start to their educational journey.
I feel passionately that play is integral to children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. I also believe play encourages children to interact with each other, develop language skills, increases self-worth and allows creativity.
I am married to my husband Mike, we have two beautiful daughters Hannah and Helen, and a miniature Dachshund called Bertie.
